Welcome to Storytime Nursery! We’re easy to find, and there’s plenty of parking. When you arrive, come to the main entrance and ring the bell. A member of staff will let you in.

Our building is bright, light and airy. It is dedicated to childcare and meets all the necessary safety and security requirements. Copies of all our policies and procedures are available in the foyer.

We have three main play rooms which are colourfully decorated. We aim to create a homely environment which is stimulating – with plenty of room to play and explore. We have a separate kitchen/ dining area, and an outside play area to the front and the rear of the premises. Our staff office and rest area are located on the first floor level of the property, providing an area for the staff to talk to parents in a confidential environment.

We have two sections to the nursery – Tiddlers and Pre-school, which you can view below.

Tiddlers Room

This is our Tiddlers Room. This room is used by our 2 –3 year-old children.

It is a large, open plan area with plenty of toys and activities for the children to choose from.

We make this room as homely as possible to help children settle into nursery life.

Pre-school Room

This is one of the 2 activity rooms dedicated  to our Pre-school children – 3 to 5 year olds.

The rooms are divided into different areas and the children are free to explore in their own time. We plan activities based on different topics/interests fortnightly.

The activities included in the planning are fun, stimulating and intended to further the children’s development.

Our Quiet Corner

Each month we ask the children what they want in the quiet corner.

This month they chose rainbows and stars from one of their favourite books… Little Pip and the rainbow wish.

We follow the childrens interests and they know what they want! The Pre – schoolers are loving their quiet corner with their great artwork 😊😀🤩

Storytime is a fantastic nursery

Storytime is a great nursery. They always do lovely activities with the children. My little boy loves bringing home the pieces of craft he has made to show me. Both of the rooms are bright, stimulating and full of the children’s work. They go out to the park every day which is especially what my son enjoys and has lots of fun! Storytime is a fantastic nursery with friendly, welcoming staff. Thanks for all of the hard work you do.

Storytime is a great nursery. They always do lovely activities with the children. My little boy loves bringing home the pieces of craft he has made to show me. The staff at Storytime have helped him

My little boy was born with a hearing deficiency, the staff at Storytime have helped him develop his speech and his ability to listen and participate as a group member. He has learnt to play with colours, fun learning toys and games. I personally love the outdoor fun that he has. Every day they go to the park and when the sun shines they have gone on the bus to the beach.

Leaving him there has never been a problem as the staff are loving and caring for him as they do their own children. As the nursery isn’t crammed, they have always been able to fit him in even on days when he is not normally there for which I am very grateful.

Our daughter feels like one of the family

We love the fact that our daughter feels like one of the family. She is so happy to come into nursery. She is treated as an individual by open and friendly staff. There are lots of varied activities every day and they go out to the park whatever the weather!

My daughter is very well looked after and I’m relaxed whilst she is there and confident that she is learning and being taught about life skills and how to mix with other children and adults. I have never heard any of the staff shouting at the children, however all children are well behaved, this is a credit to the nursery staff.

The nursery is always clean and tidy, and smells nice and the staff are well presented. We especially like the size of the nursery, it is big enough for our daughter to make friends and mix with her peers but not to big so that she just becomes one of the crowd. We think the balance is perfect.
