Pre-School

Bookings are taken for Pre-School leading up to the start of the new term in September. We prepare your children for the next step into school through Play, Exploring, Adventure, Dancing, Singing Storytelling and generally having great fun!!

Pre-School Credit Vouchers are accepted at Storytime. We can make thing easy for you by talking through the process.

Storytime Nursery offers a great opportunity for your child – but don’t take our word for it, pop down and see for yourself! Our door is always open to pop in for a chat – Main Road, Onchan, Opposite the Commissioners. Or call 616254 to speak to Lauren or Lisa.

Settling In Period

We know it can be upsetting leaving your little ones when they are unsure coming in but we promise they are in the best hands and have a great time while mummy and daddies are hard at work!

Starting nursery can be daunting for (you and) your child, every effort is made to help your child settle in. With this in mind, we offer each child two taster sessions. These sessions are one hour long and can be arranged at a time to suit you. Some parents like to stay for all/part of the taster session, other parents prefer to drop their child off for the hour. This is completely your choice and we are happy to accommodate either way.

My daughter absolutely loved going to Storytime every day and I just wanted to say thank you to you and all of the girls for your kindness and the caring way you are with the children. It certainly makes a big difference when you have to leave knowing that they are in a safe and happy environment. Storytime is a fantastic nursery

Storytime is a great nursery. They always do lovely activities with the children. My little boy loves bringing home the pieces of craft he has made to show me. Both of the rooms are bright, stimulating and full of the children’s work. They go out to the park every day which is especially what my son enjoys and has lots of fun! The staff at Storytime have helped him

My little boy was born with a hearing deficiency, the staff at Storytime have helped him develop his speech and his ability to listen and participate as a group member. He has learnt to play with colours, fun learning toys and games. I personally love the outdoor fun that he has. Every day they go to the park and when the sun shines they have gone on the bus to the beach.

Leaving him there has never been a problem as the staff are loving and caring for him as they do their own children. As the nursery isn’t crammed, they have always been able to fit him in even on days when he is not normally there for which I am very grateful.

Our daughter feels like one of the family

We love the fact that our daughter feels like one of the family. She is so happy to come into nursery. She is treated as an individual by open and friendly staff. There are lots of varied activities every day and they go out to the park whatever the weather!

My daughter is very well looked after and I’m relaxed whilst she is there and confident that she is learning and being taught about life skills and how to mix with other children and adults. I have never heard any of the staff shouting at the children, however all children are well behaved, this is a credit to the nursery staff.

The nursery is always clean and tidy, and smells nice and the staff are well presented. We especially like the size of the nursery, it is big enough for our daughter to make friends and mix with her peers but not to big so that she just becomes one of the crowd. We think the balance is perfect.
